What is Dermalinfusion?

The Center for Laser Surgery is pleased to now offer the Dermalinfusion treatment in Washington, DC. Dermalinfusion represents the newest technology in microdermabrasion, providing simultaneous exfoliation, extraction, and infusion of specific serums targeted to a patient’s individual skin. Dermalinfusion utilizes controlled vacuum pressure to evenly and accurately microdermabrade the skin, while simultaneously extracting oil and other toxins from pores. In addition, the Dermalinfusion device simultaneously infuses one of several therapeutic topical solutions deep into the skin. These include brightening agents, anti-aging retinols, growth factor serums, and other healing solutions.

What effects does Dermalinfusion have on the Skin?

The Dermalinfusion treatment is utilized to soften fine lines, lighten age spots and improve skin texture and color. Much like traditional microdermabrasion, Dermalinfusion can be used in all skin colors and types and is also useful in treating pigment disturbances related to hormones, sun exposure, and acne hyperpigmentation (dark marks). Dermalinfusion is a cost-effective zero-downtime treatment for patients with minor skin imperfections that do not want the downtime associated with laser treatments or deep chemical peels. Skin tone and texture is enhanced through a series of weekly sessions, with continued improvement seen throughout the treatment program.

Is SilkPeel the same thing as Dermalinfusion?

Yes. Silkpeel was the original name for the Dermalinfusion device and treatment. In 2018 Envy Medical, the manufacturer of the device, decided the rename the treatment Dermalinfusion. To avoid confusion some practices now refer to the treatment as SilkPeel Dermalinfusion. The device is completely unchanged despite this rather confusing marketing decision.

What is the cost of Dermalinfusion treatment?

Dermalinfusion treatments are $175 per treatment. We offer 50% off the first Dermalinfusion treatment for any patient. Each session includes a light, refreshing facial.
